Pastor Greg Locke

A Pastor stands for God, against sin, and not bowing to the terms of a 501C3.

For many years, churches have come under scrutiny for the tax status they receive by being nothing more than a church. While many places of worship take advantage of the tax-exempt status, Tennessee Pastor Greg Locke, who has made some rather interesting statements in the past, recently announced that he dropped the tax status after a group alerted the Internal Revenue Service to investigate what they claimed were political sermons.

For those who might not be familiar with the pastor, according to several sites, he has a net worth of around $129 million. On top of that, as can be seen in the video below, Locke declared that a person can not be a Democrat and a Christian at the same time. “If you vote Democrat, I don’t even want you around this church. You can get out. You can get out, you demon. You cannot be a Christian and vote Democrat in this nation. I don’t care how mad that makes you. You can get as pissed off as you want to. You cannot be a Christian and vote Democrat in this nation…. You cannot be a Democrat and a Christian. You cannot. Somebody say, ‘Amen.’ The rest of you get out! Get out!”

That wasn’t all as Locke charged on, “I ain’t playin’ your stupid games…. I’m sick of it. Everyone wanna talk about the insurrection? Mmmm. Let me tell you something: You ain’t seen the insurrection yet. You keep on pushing our buttons, you low-down, sorry compromisers, you God-hating communists, maybe you’ll find out what an insurrection is.”

While the video might be a glimpse into the world of Pastor Locke, it should be noted he has made other claims that included not to get vaccinated, Vice President Kamala Harris was controlling a sex trafficking ring, and how demons told him the names of witches currently in his church.

The group that alerted the IRS was the Americans United For Separation of Church and State (AUSCS). They warned, “Though Locke stated he was not a ‘full-fledged Republican,’ he clearly told his congregants to vote against the Democrats, from the pulpit of his church.”

President of the group, Rachel Laser added, “Now, when our democracy is threatened by white Christian nationalism like never before, the IRS must investigate blatant Johnson Amendment violations like Locke’s remarks and enforce the federal law that protects the integrity of both our elections and our houses of worship by ensuring nonprofits don’t engage in partisan politics.”

Responding to the accusations, Locke stated he had done away with his tax status. “Guess what I did this week. I got an attorney and I dissolved our stinking 501c3 in this church because the Government ain’t gonna tell me what I can and what I can’t say. So, IRS we don’t need your stupid tax-exempt status. You can put it in a bag and burn it in your front yard for all we care. I renounced 501c3 communism in this church.”

How do you feel about this Pastor’s stand for God?
Do you feel Christians should stand up for what The Word says, rather than go along to get along?
As for me, I would rather offend men than offend God.
